Homeschool Schedule: Week of April 8th

We are back in homeschool action!

Our first Spring Break as a homeschooling family was wonderful-we rested, relaxed and went shopping. I even took time to plunge into blogging an A to Z Challenge.

Several of the stories we started prior to Spring Break will be continued this week due to their length, but we are still on track and things are looking good! I’m excited to dive into the compositions of John Williams since he has been the focus at a co-op we attend. I still get a rush of excitement when I hear the theme song from Star Wars.

Many engaging items fill our week, just take a look and join us on our homeschool journey!

  • So all through King Harald’s country men were soon busy mending helmets and polishing swords and making shields. There was blazing of forges and clanging of anvils all through the land.
  • “He said” answered the other, “that it was not at all wise to keep company with a fellow who would desert his friend in a moment of danger.”
  • At last he managed to scramble out, and as he stood sadly thinking about the good bone he had lost, he realized what a stupid Dog he had been.
  • In a quarter of an hour the Captain of the robbers awoke, got up, and opened the window. As all seemed quiet he threw down some little pebbles which hit the jars.
  • And now he knew at last which of his children it was that had loved him best, and who was worthy of his love.
